Eyebrow Microblading -
If you are on the opposite side and don't really need your eyebrows waxed but you need actual eyebrows added, then this is what you want! It sounds scary so hear me out. This can be a life changer for a lot of people including you!
Microblading is a semipermanent cosmetic tattooing technique filling sparse eyebrows with fine “hairs” drawn using a super fine microblade for an incredibly natural and soft eyebrow effect. A 6 week touchup is recommended for this service as a simple perfecting treatment.
Microblading Touchups & Refreshers
Microblading is semipermanent and meant to fade over time. Depending on your skin, age, color, sun exposure, and products used will determine the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo. Yearly touchups are recommended to keep optimal color and clarity.
Sometimes you can't get back to see your original eyebrow artist for various reasons. I get it, and I get the need for a little touchup now and then. I'm happy to help you out. Depending on the amount of touchup work will determine your actual cost. A consultation is required.
Addition charges -
6 week touchup $150
annual touchups $350
Nano & Powder Brows
Nano Brows are cosmetically tattooed brows using a delicate tattoo machine. Nano brows is very similar to Microblading as natural looking “hairs” are tattooed to build a natural looking set of eyebrows. Using a machine vs a Microblading means this type of tattoo will be slightly deeper and more appropriate for certain skin types or situations that microblading may not be the best option.
Powder brows is a technique using a delicate tattoo machine but instead of individual hairs to build the brow it’s more powdered and filled in, an ombré look. And yes, these two styles can be mixed together for a gorgeous fluffy full brow!

What is Microblading?
Also known as cosmetic tattooing, 3D eyebrows, embroidery brows, mocropigmentation, and who knows what other Hollywood name they've come up with. I personally call it my magical unicorn made of eyebrow dreams!
Microblading is a semipermanent process using a small hand tool with tiny micro needles that implant pigment into the first layer of skin. Because of its delicate placement it is meant to fade so you can age gracefully with it and be able to alter your shape and style as trends change over time.
Is it permanent?
Microblading is semipermanent and meant to fade. The delicate process of implanting pigment into the first layer of skin is much like traditional tattooing only instead of using a heavy machine I am using a small hand tool allowing me to gently "draw" individual hairs. This process doesn't go as deep into the skin as traditional tattooing allowing it to gradually fade away.
How long does it last?
6 months to 5 years. Now I know that's a huge range but it really depends on the person. You have to consider skin tone, lifestyle, hormone and medication changes, sun exposure, products used on the area, and the actual color used in your Microblading service. On average after your first 2 sessions you can expect it to last 1 - 2 years.
How many treatments do i need?
For most people, 2 treatments will usually get you to your desired look. After your first treatment you will see a lot of fading and a more powdery softer look. You may love this look but if you want more depth or a richer color you will want to come back once everything has healed after about 6 weeks. This second treatment will also give you a bit more longevity with this second layer of pigment.
Remember, this treatment is meant to fade so a little maintenance is required. Sun exposure, skincare products, medications, and hormones play a huge roll in how your color will fade and how fast. Most clients get a touch up every 1-2 years
Does it hurt?
There may be a bit of discomfort but it's really not bad. I've had people describe it like a really intense tweezing session and others say its like tiny kitten scratches. I do use a numbing solution after I've done the first pass but in order to keep your skin texture from thickening and for the solution to work, the skin has to be open
How do I prepare?
If you don't already know, now is the time to start looking for your ideal eyebrow. Bring me pictures, come in for your appointment wearing makeup like you usually do so I get an idea of your style. Anything to give me guidance to create your dream eyebrows.
1week before - Stay out of the sun. A sunburn or peeling skin from an older burn will result in having to reschedule. Keep up your skincare routine and gently exfoliate. Clear, smooth, moisturizer skin will take the pigment more consistently and heal better.
2 weeks before - Now is the time to stop using any retinoids and harsh skin products. Alpha hydroxy acids and salicilic acids may be used up to a week before.
1 month before - No sunburn, chemical peels, Botox treatments, laser treatments or anything that may change how your skin will heal
